Ozeri Nonstick Frying Pan review

I am going to burst everyone's bubble here. I don't like cooking. I like baking, quite a lot, but I hate cooking. I find it a boring necessity, with two small children in the house (and a budget to adhere to), but I would be lying through my teeth if I was to say I like it. In fact, every time I think to myself "oh no, my kids are growing up so fast, they will soon leave me", myself reminds me, that when my kids leave I won't have to cook anymore. Ever. So you see, I have never owned nice pots and pans. It is all a question of prioritising, and I would buy another baking related thingy, before I buy an expensive pot. Every evening, for the past eight years, I look at the miserable collection of pots & pans I own and sigh "oh, I need new ones", and every morning, I don't buy new ones.
So, you can understand my happiness at being offered to try out one of Ozeri pans. It has a fancy look and a very long description that makes big promises of "non-stick perfection", and "no harmful chemicals" (I didn't even know there were harmful chemicals in other pans), and of course "enhanced cooking performance". how can you say no to that? Right, you can't.
To be honest I wasn't aware of all the harmful things that went into the making of all those old pans, but after reading all the explanations Ozeri wrote, I was horrified that I had unknowingly ingested all this for so many years. That I cooked for my kids with those pans... So I was all for using a pan that has none of these harmful materials, and that I don't have to be afraid of actually harming my family by cooking.
I got home the most beautiful pan I have ever seen. And trust me, I am not saying that lightly. I can honestly say I have never said that about a pan before. I got the 26 cm (10 inches) one. It is green on the outside and black on the inside, and quite heavy, but in a good way. I sat it outside for a few days because I had people over, and I wanted to nonchalantly show off my new pan, without making a big deal out of it.
I have to admit I was considering living it there, on the stove, just for show. It makes a very good first impression after all. And why ruin it by cooking? And what could really be the difference between one pan and the other?
So it took me a few days to actually cook with it. And what did I make you ask? Well... Scrambled eggs of course. Firstly, because the kids love it. And secondly because as far as I am concerned, this is the real test for a pan. And my other pans have failed it miserably. I won't leave you in suspense - it passed. With flying colours.

Let's get down to business, yes? The pan was everything that was promised, and much more. It is beautiful, it is well made and is very easy to use, the handle doesn't heat, the heat in the pan is distributed evenly and perfectly, the food was evenly cooked, the eggs I made got cooked but without changing their colour (or burning), nothing stuck to the pan, rinsing it was easy, and I will for sure now only cook with it :)
So thank you Ozeri for teaching me that there is a difference between good frying pans and regular ones, and for making me understand why people are willing to invest in good cooking equioment.
Now I am going to buy the rest of the range...

Disclaimer - I was sent the frying pan from Ozeri to try it and write a review. It doesn't mean what i wrote isn't exactly how I feel!
